1. Application Process
Designed to help volunteers find what project is the best match. We work one-on-one to ensure volunteers are satisfied with their decision. See our Steps to Apply and APPLY NOW.

2. Preparation Before Arrival
Volunteers should be prepared for their experience before arriving. To ensure this, we provide preparatory documents and materials covering: general information about Peru, safety and security, travel recommendations, and specific information regarding your host organization and what to expect.  We are always available to answer any questions or concerns as they arise before your arrival to Peru.

3. Arrival to Peru and Orientation
Once you arrive to Peru, you will be in good hands as you will be picked up from the airport, taken to a comfortable hotel and after a good night’s rest, be briefed at the orientation program.  During this orientation period, we integrate our volunteers with Peruvian culture and provide a personalized orientation geared to prepare individuals or groups for their specific volunteer experience.

4. Volunteer Experience
Once we have put you in the hands of your host organization, you are not on your own.  The host organizations will quickly become your new family and, in most cases, you will sleep and dine under the same roof. Even when you are with your host organization, we will be supporting you and we are always available 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns and to help in any way we can.

5. Travel Opportunities
The volunteer experience in Peru does not have to end with the organization. We also offer an array of amazing and unique travel packages and tours to complement your time here and help you experience the many diverse wonders Peru has to offer.

6. Departure
Often the hardest and saddest moments for volunteers are the goodbyes after such meaningful experiences. Of course, we are here to help. An exit interview and evaluation is completed to guarantee that your voice and opinions are heard, and improvements to the program can be made accordingly. We will also provide a certificate of completion and a gift for you to remember your volunteer experience.

Anybody can be a volunteer. Ideal volunteers are those that are open-minded to new experiences, absorbing their environments and learning from others.  Volunteers are kind, caring, and giving individuals, who are always willing to lend a hand and share their values and customs. A volunteer is not limited by his or her age, lack of or over experience, but instead they embrace their uniqueness to share with others their experiences and perspectives.  Volunteers embark on a life-changing experience for themselves and those around them.
